Peptide Pricing: How to Compare Vials and Formats
The price per vial can be misleading when offers come in different formats. A useful comparison first defines the sales unit and then the complete cost of the material you need.

What price should I compare between two offers?
That of the same reference, quantity per vial and number of units, with equivalent documentation and delivery. Separates nominal price per mg of analytical quality; A percentage or low price is not a substitute for the COA of the lot.

Write down exact reference, nominal quantity per vial and number of vials in the pack. Two presentations can share a name and have different mass, composition or documentation.
If a pack costs 120 euros and contains ten vials, its nominal price is 12 euros per vial. This calculation does not confirm identity, analytical quantity or conditions of the product; just order the commercial offer.
What does the price per mg provide?
Within an equivalent reference, the price per mg can help compare formats. Divide the amount by the total nominal mass indicated and keep that base in the table.
Do not use that result to establish equivalences between molecules. Mass does not universally express activity, number of molecules or usefulness in an assay. Nor does it represent a dose.
Includes documents and delivery costs
Request a total with shipping and applicable taxes and ask what analysis is included. If the project requires additional testing, record its cost separately.
Check the policy for an incorrect reference, a transport incident or a result that does not meet the agreed specification. The full cost includes the terms of service, not just the product shown in a photograph.

Fictitious offers of the same reference: A includes ten vials of 5 mg for 100 euros; B includes ten 10 mg for 160 euros. A costs 10 euros per vial and 2 euros per nominal mg; B costs 16 euros per vial and 1.60 euros per nominal mg. The cheapest vial is not the cheapest format by mass.
The comparison is still incomplete if the documents, shipment or analytical quantity differ. Complete the conditions before deciding; do not present these fictitious amounts as Hexpeps prices.
